I am Vero (Veh-roll the R-oh). This is a personal blog of random things. I love my yorkie, my family, politics, and making people wonder what I’m up too. Hip Hop and Classic House are the sound track to my life. Chicago is where I cause all the ruckus.

I am a coupon code champ.

Try as I might, I can’t stomach the idea of paying $50 for a bra, but that’s the standard price for goods from Victoria’s Secret. In times of recession, however, even the most flat-chested, empty-coffered gal can afford a low-back multi-way bra with Gel-Curve inserts! How? The precious coupon code. Victoria’s Secret — perhaps knowing that it’s shilling overpriced merchandise — allows you to add up to three coupon codes per online order. With some e-sleuthing, one can uncover every valid coupon code currently in existence.

After a harrowing online shopping addiction during my sophomore year, I’ve mostly avoided making purchases via laptop. I browse, but I exercise restraint. Sometimes, however, a girl has needs. In my case, I needed a new bra and a new bikini set. (There are some things one can salvage from 20 pounds and a cup size ago; bras and bikinis are not among these items). So off to Victoria’s Secret I went! Or off to VictoriasSecret.com my mouse went! (My … trackpad went? You get the idea.)

My finds included the crazy complicated $55 bra above, which was on sale for $41, and this very affordable two-piece in white. Still, I was less than pleased with the total, $84.49. Ouch.

But then I entered the following codes …

VS50SHP: Free shipping on orders of $50 or more (expires tomorrow)
BRAFAVES: 20% off any of the following bras (expires tomorrow)
25BSEXY: 25% off Beach Sexy swimwear (expires Sunday)

Original price of my loot: $73.50 + $10.99 (shipping) = $84.49
Final price after coupon codes: $57.17 + free shipping = $57.17

Less than 60 bucks for a bikini top, bottom, and a fancy-schmancy bra? Uh-mazing. (I also got 3% cash back, about $1.71, using Bank of America’s Add It Up!) Please shop responsibly.

I love a good sale, but I don’t have the funds to shop at all. Not even a wonderful sale like this one. For those who are more financially responsible, you should take advantage.
